​Getting Ready to Saw
- Cut down Trees Safely
- Cut logs to desired logs
- Seal the end of the logs with Anchorseal
- Trim branches and bumps off of logs so they will roll
- Position logs side by side at a flat, level, accessible location
Preparing The Site
- Sawmill site should be flat and level.
- Under 15″ slope over 26 foot length of sawmill
- Less than 10″ slop over 10 foot width of sawmill
- If sloping side to side, logs should be uphill of the the sawmill

- Mill & logs are level along the length
- Logs Roll downhill to Mill
- Logs are centred lengthwise
- logs trimmed so they will roll
- Lots of room for the truck and the mill
